News2/24/07 NEW OWNERSHIP OF AFI-Fan-Club
Okay, so here's the scoop. The club was going to be up a long time ago because I was going to be active and stuff... but that didn't happen. I sorta got majorly grounded, so... yeah... But now, it is summer and I will be online more. I started by deleting all notes, including requests to be added to the club and deviation submissions. The only thing I didn't delete were requests to affiliate. There was a backlog or about 170+ notes and I simply do not have the time or patience to go through all of them. If you are serious about wanting to be a part of this club, please resend a note to the club. Same goes with deviations. If you are noticing a big lag (2+ weeks of no activity), please send a note to ~DaveyxD
Expect to see tour dates, contests, pertinent AFI news, etc as soon as I have enough time.

Joining 
Members should NOTE the club in order to join. Please entitle the note "JOIN" or something to that effect so that it does not get confused with the other notes. It might be easier for potential members to COMMENT in order to ask to join; that is also fine for now. DeviantWatch the club, and the club will DevWatch you back. Please post a link to the club in your journal or signature by typing :icon afi-fan-club: without the space. You should get 
If that doesn't work, you can copy this [link] by right-clicking and hitting "copy shortcut", and then pasting the link in your journal or signature, or type :dev afi-fan-club: without the space to get ~AFI-Fan-Club. This will help to promote the club and bring even more AFI-inspired artwork in. Thank you to those who've already linked the club! 
Club Rules Members must have an appreciation of the music and lyrics of AFI, and not bash the band or its members. Also, if you are one of those "I think Davey Havok is a sexy beast and I want to have his babies" type of girl (or guy), please take your blind worshiping elsewhere. At least a minimal amount of participation in the club would be appreciated. This includes commenting on the main page and on the works of others, as well as submitting AFI-inspired artwork/poetry/photography. Deviations If you would like one of your deviations to be featured in the club, please NOTE the club with a link to the deviation as well as the description you would like to go with it, and it will be posted as soon as possible. 
PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT OR FAV DEVIATIONS BY THE CLUB. Please follow the link provided and give the artist in question some recognition!
